Royal Astronomical Society's Lunchtime Lecture Series
Listen to leading scientists talk about their work in the Royal Astronomical Society, Burlington House (opposite ‘Fortnum & Mason’ on Piccadilly).
These 45-minute popular lectures, for non-specialists, start at 1300.
A 'Friend of the RAS' can reserve a seat by contacting the RAS, preferably by email to friends@ras.org.uk , between 1000 on the Monday of the week before until 1700 of the day before the lecture.(Please note that you must collect your ticket on the day of the lecture by 12:30).
Non-'Friends' may collect tickets for any remaining seats on a ‘first come first served’ basis ONLY on the day of the lecture AFTER 1230, when the doors open.
Please note an astronomy video will be shown until the lecture itself begins.
